What this bill does
Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, the secretary of agriculture, trade and consumer protection
and the secretary of tourism are members of the State Fair Park Board. This bill
allows each secretary to instead have a designee serve on the State Fair Park Board.
The designee must be an employee of the department of which the secretary is head.
