What this bill does

This bill requires the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to permit the use

of golf carts in Governor Tommy G. Thompson Centennial State Park and the

Peshtigo River State Forest by persons age 16 and over. Under the bill, DNR must

promulgate rules that limit the use of the golf carts to at least the same hours and

in at least the same places as golf carts were used in those areas before the state

purchased the properties.
