What this bill does

Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau

Under current law, for property tax purposes, the assessed value of agricultural

land is determined according to the income that could be generated from renting the

land for agricultural use. This bill eliminates provisions related to the assessment

of agricultural land that are no longer in effect.
