What this bill does
Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau
Current law requires that a seller of a condominium unit make certain
disclosures to the purchaser before the sale closing by furnishing copies of certain
documents. This bill specifically authorizes these disclosures to be made
electronically if done in accordance with any requirements under law, including the
federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act.
