What this bill does

Under current law, the board of directors of the Wisconsin Aerospace Authority

is made up of the following members: six members nominated by the governor and

appointed with the advice and consent of the senate, a member of the senate

appointed by the president of the senate, a member of the assembly appointed by the

speaker of the assembly, and the director of the Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium

(WSGC). This bill allows the director of the WSGC to designate another person to

serve as a member of the board in his or her stead.
