What this bill does

Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau

A provision of

2007 Wisconsin Act 20

(the biennial budget act) required the

Department of Transportation (DOT) to award a $500,000 grant in the 2007-09 fiscal

biennium, from DOT's Transportation Facilities Economic Assistance and

Development Program, to the town of Pound in Marinette County for the extension

of N. 19th Road to W. 16th Road.

This bill allows the town of Pound to use this grant for any suitable local
