A provision of
2007 Wisconsin Act 20
(the biennial budget act) required the
Department of Transportation (DOT) to award a $500,000 grant in the 2007-09 fiscal
biennium, from DOT's Transportation Facilities Economic Assistance and
Development Program, to the town of Pound in Marinette County for the extension
of N. 19th Road to W. 16th Road.
This bill allows the town of Pound to use this grant for any suitable local
highway project.
