Under current law, state residents who are under 18 years old pay reduced fees for deer hunting licenses, archer hunting licenses, sports licenses, and conservation patron licenses. A sports license and a conservation patron license confer upon the licensee combined hunting and fishing privileges conferred by certain other licenses, including a small game hunting license, a deer hunting license, and an annual fishing license.
Under this bill, the same reduced fees apply to the four licenses listed above when they are issued to resident senior citizens. A resident senior citizen is a state resident who is at least 65 years of age.
