What this bill does
Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau
This resolution amends the assembly rules to permit a person in the assembly
visitor gallery to display a sign that is not larger than 8 1/2 inches in width and 11
inches in height, but only if the sign is not held over the person's head. In addition,
the resolution amends the assembly rules to permit a person in the assembly visitor
gallery to photograph or videotape any of the proceedings in the chamber.
