This bill requires the Legislative Audit Bureau (LAB) to conduct a management and performance evaluation audit of every state agency large program, as defined in the bill, at least once each five years. The audit must include an appraisal of all management practices, operating procedures, and organizational structures related to the program. The bill also requires LAB to conduct a management and performance evaluation audit of supervisor-to-staff ratios of every large agency, as defined in the bill, at least once each five years.
