What this bill does

Under current law, most vehicles entering state parks must display a vehicle

admission receipt (sticker), either for annual use or for one-day use. Some vehicles

are exempt from the sticker requirement, including a vehicle operated by a disabled

veteran. Also under current law, the Department of Natural Resources may charge

an admission fee to enter a state trail and disabled veterans are exempt from this fee

as well. This bill extends both of these exemptions to all veterans discharged under

conditions other than dishonorable.
