What this bill does
Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau
2013 Wisconsin Act 20
requires the secretary of employee trust funds and the
director of the Office of State Employment Relations to study the feasibility of
excluding from health care coverage the spouses and domestic partners of state
employees who are eligible to receive health care coverage through their own
employers and offering a $2,000 annual incentive payment to any state employee
who elects not to receive health care coverage through the state employee health care
coverage plan. This bill eliminates this study.
