What this bill does
Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, salaries of most county officers and employees must be paid
at the end of each month unless the county board specifies that salaries be paid
semimonthly or every two weeks. Also under current law, the salaries of county
medical examiners and medical examiner's assistants must be paid semimonthly.
This bill eliminates the specification that the salaries of medical examiners and
medical examiner's assistants be paid semimonthly.
