What this bill does
Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, the lead vehicle in a funeral procession may be equipped
with a flashing amber light. Any vehicle in the procession may also be equipped with
a flashing amber light if all vehicles in the procession are so equipped. A vehicle
equipped with such a light may only use the light in the procession. Under this bill,
vehicles permitted to be equipped with a flashing amber light may instead be
equipped with a flashing purple light.
