Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill requires a law enforcement agency that has issued an alert for a
missing adult at risk, commonly known as a "Silver Alert," to refer the person making
the report to a local aging and disability resource center. This bill also requires the

subject of such an alert to determine if restrictions should be imposed on the person's
