What this bill does

Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau

This bill allows a person to operate a motor vehicle that has a monitoring and

feedback device mounted to the front windshield.

Under current law, no person may drive a motor vehicle upon a highway with

any object so placed as to obstruct the driver's clear view through the front

windshield. This bill allows a person to operate a motor vehicle that has a monitoring

and feedback device mounted to the front windshield directly above, behind, or below

the rearview mirror.
