This bill requires the Department of Corrections to award grants to local workforce development boards to provide community services to reduce recidivism and to improve opportunities for offenders to successfully complete their terms of probation, parole, and extended supervision. This bill increases the appropriation by $500,000 per fiscal year in the 2015-17 fiscal biennium and sunsets the grant program on June 30, 2018.
