Development for local youth apprenticeship grants by $500,000 in fiscal year
2016-17. Currently, $2,223,700 is appropriated in that fiscal year for those grants,
which are awarded to local partnerships consisting of one or more school districts,
other public agencies, nonprofit organizations, individuals, and other persons for the
implementation and coordination of local youth apprenticeship programs.
