What this bill does

This bill requires that, whenever a law enforcement officer accesses, for a

purpose related to a motor vehicle stop, an operator's license, permit, or

identification card record maintained by the Department of Transportation, DOT

must record the race, ethnicity, zip code, and gender of the person whose record is

accessed.
