What this bill does

Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau

This bill combines four chapters of the administrative code, each of which

pertains to a grant program administered by the Department of Public Instruction

into one administrative code chapter. The four grant programs are 1) grants for peer

review and mentoring; 2) grants for alcohol and other drug abuse programs; 3) grants

for tribal language revitalization; and 4) four-year-old kindergarten grants. The bill

also provides default procedures for other state grant programs administered by

DPI.
