What this bill does

This bill requires any employee of the Wisconsin Economic Development

Corporation who is aware that a fraud has been perpetrated against WEDC to report

that fraud or cause that fraud to be reported to the Department of Justice or the

appropriate district attorney. The bill applies retroactively to a fraud perpetrated

against WEDC on or after February 24, 2011, the effective date of

2011 Wisconsin Act

, which created WEDC.
