What this bill does

This bill makes a change to rules promulgated by the Department of Natural

Resources relating to the operation of vehicles on DNR properties. Under the bill,

no person may operate a bicycle or motor bicycle during hours of darkness on certain

state trails designated by DNR unless the person or the bicycle or motor bicycle is

equipped with a lamp emitting a white light visible from a distance of at least 500

feet to the front and a lamp emitting a red light visible from a distance of 500 feet to

the rear.
