What this bill does

This bill requires the Department of Safety and Professional Services to require

an automatic fire sprinkler system in a multifamily dwelling that contains more than

four dwelling units. Current law requires DSPS to require such a system in a

multifamily dwelling that contains more than 20 dwelling units.
