What this bill does

This resolution requires the Committee on Assembly Organization to meet

before May 18, 2017, to consider legislation to codify and require health insurance

plans offered in the state to maintain equal treatment related to coverage and cost,

regardless of whether the individual has a pre-existing medical condition, as

currently required by federal law.
