What this bill does

This bill requires the Department of Natural Resources to establish a uniform

end date for open hunting and trapping seasons for pheasant, gray partridge, and

fisher, for wild turkey hunting in the fall, and for deer hunted only by archers. The

bill requires the open season for each to end on the Sunday nearest January 6.
