What this bill does

This bill requires the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority

to conduct a study of mechanisms for funding affordable housing, including an

evaluation of social impact bonding and other bonding programs for financing

affordable housing units. The bill requires WHEDA to submit a report of its findings

and recommendations for funding the creation of affordable housing for low-income

persons in this state to the legislature and the governor.
