This bill requires the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System to create two positions to advance the UW-Extension's farm succession planning programs. The first position is a specialist within the Center for Dairy Profitability to assist in the financial aspects of farm succession management. The second position is a specialist within the UW-Extension's Farm Management Institute to assist in developing and delivering programs at the local level and focus on research, training, and joint programming with county-based agriculture extension educators throughout the state.
