What this bill does

This bill requires the Department of Health Services to award 50 grants, each

lasting for two fiscal years and in the amount of $75,000 per fiscal year per grant, to

local branches of statewide private nonprofit organizations that apply and that

satisfy criteria specified in the bill, including that the organization be able to raise

$25,000, which it must contribute to support the trauma-informed care position and

administrative expenses for trauma-informed care programming.
