What this bill does

grants to local governmental units for the staffing of law enforcement agencies with
mental health crisis intervention teams. Under current law, DHS must award
grants totalling $250,000 in each fiscal biennium for mental health crisis
intervention team training for law enforcement agencies and correctional officers.
