What this bill does

The bill provides that during the period that begins on the day after the

November general election and ends on the day before the start of the next legislative

biennial session in January, no house of the legislature may pass a bill, adopt a

resolution, or confirm an appointment without the approval of two-thirds of those

members present and voting.
