What this bill does

Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau

Under current law, an elector who shows his or her marked ballot to any person

or places a mark upon the ballot so it is identifiable as his or her ballot is guilty of

a Class I felony. This bill eliminates that prohibition.
