What this bill does
Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, wardens and superintendents of the state prisons are
required to take an official oath and execute a bond. This bill removes the
requirement to execute a bond, and expands the requirement to take an official oath
to apply to the superintendents of state juvenile correctional facilities as well as
wardens and superintendents of state prisons.
