What this bill does

This bill prohibits cities, villages, towns, and counties (political subdivisions)

and state agencies from requiring the testing of audible devices of fire alarm systems

in the state capitol building later than 9 a.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and

Thursdays. If a political subdivision or state agency has adopted an ordinance or

promulgated a rule that imposes such a requirement, the bill provides that the

ordinance or rule does not apply and may not be enforced.
