What this bill does
Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill requires the Department of Health Services to request supplemental
funding from the Joint Committee on Finance and, if received, to award grants to
provide trainings to substance use disorder treatment providers on treatment
models for methamphetamine addiction. The DHS appropriations may be
supplemented after JCF approves a request by DHS for the funding, and JCF is not
required to find an emergency to make the supplement.
