What this bill does
Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill repeals obsolete provisions relating to the floodplain and shoreland
mapping assistance program administered by the Department of Natural Resources.
Under current law, DNR is required to administer the program, which provides
counties, cities, and villages with financial assistance for mapping and delineating
floodplain and shoreland areas. Current law provides that grants may not be applied
for or awarded after February 8, 1986.
