What this bill does

Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau

This bill requires that University of Wisconsin System institutions, if

requested, fully cooperate and participate in a “landscape analysis.” The term

“landscape analysis” is defined in the bill as the analysis of educator preparation

programs for which the Joint Committee on Finance has approved the use of moneys

from the federal American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, P.L.

by an independent organization that has been chosen by the Department of Public

Instruction.
