What this bill does
Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill extends the expenditure period for a tax incremental district (TID) in
the city of Westby. Under current law, a city or village that creates a TID generally
may not make expenditures for project costs later than five years before the TID's
unextended termination date. Under the bill, the city of Westby may make
expenditures for project costs through 2034 for TID Number Three.
