This bill requires the Department of Natural Resources to provide large metal containers where hunters may dispose of deer carcasses, to be placed in locations throughout the state as determined by DNR. The bill provides in the 2021-23 fiscal biennium $2,000,000 for the carcass disposal sites. The bill also provides in the 2021-23 fiscal biennium $100,000 for DNR to provide education to hunters about chronic wasting disease and the importance of proper carcass disposal.
