What this bill does

Under current law, the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer

Protection is authorized to use certain funds to make loans for the development of

rural businesses or rural economic development. This bill allows DATCP to also use

those funds to provide grants for the purpose of promoting dairy exports.
