Under current law, the Wisconsin grant program, administered by the Higher
Educational Aids Board, provides grants to resident students enrolled in specified
postsecondary institutions, including UW institutions and technical colleges.
The bill increases HEAB's appropriations for Wisconsin grants for UW students
by $22,518,700 in fiscal year 2024-25 and for technical college students by
$8,357,700 in fiscal year 2024-25.
