What this bill does

This joint resolution calls for an advisory referendum on the question of

requiring the Department of Corrections to recommend revoking the release of a

person who is on extended supervision, parole, or probation if the person is charged

with a crime while on that release. The referendum is to be held at the next spring

or general election occurring not sooner than 45 days after adoption of the resolution.
