Under current law, it is unlawful to ride on an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) or utility terrain vehicle (UTV) on a part of the ATV or UTV that is not designed for use by passengers. It is also unlawful to operate an ATV or UTV with such a passenger.

This bill provides that these restrictions do not apply to an ATV with one passenger in a second seated position.
