Under current law, the Department of Veterans Affairs may annually grant up
to $75,000 to the Wisconsin department of the American Legion for the operation of
Camp American Legion. This bill increases the amount the department may grant
to up to $120,000, and directs that the granted money be used to pay up to half of the
annual wages and salaries associated with the operation of Camp American Legion,
or $120,000 for the annual wages and salaries associated with the operation of Camp
American Legion, whichever is less.
