What this bill does

Beginning on March 1, 2024, this bill increases all of the following fees for

nonresident hunting, trapping, and fishing approvals:

1. Nonresident elk and bear hunting licenses: $248.25 to $311.25

2. Nonresident archer and crossbow deer hunting licenses: $162.25 to $197.25.

3. Nonresident bonus deer hunting permit, outside chronic wasting disease

areas: $19.25 to $30.25.

4. Nonresident wild turkey hunting license: $62.25 to $97.25.

5. Nonresident additional wild turkey hunting authorization: $14.75 to $23.75.

6. Nonresident fur-bearing animal license: $162.25 to $197.25.

7. Nonresident wolf harvesting license: $250.25 to $313.25.

8. Nonresident trapping license: $149.25 to $187.25.

9. Itinerant fur buyer license: $200 to $600.

10. Nonresident conservation patron license: $615.25 to $715.25.

11. Nonresident youth conservation patron license: $72.25 to $86.25.

12. Nonresident sports fishing license: $292.25 to $319.25.

13. Nonresident youth sports fishing license: $33.25 to $38.25.

14. Nonresident two-day sports fishing license: $9.25 to $10.25.

15. Nonresident sturgeon spearing fishing license: $64.25 to $70.25.

16. Nonresident sturgeon hook and line fishing tag: $49.75 to $54.75.

17. Nonresident outlying waters commercial fishing license fees, with or

without a boat: $6,499.25 to $12,249.25.

18. Nonresident Lake Michigan, Green Bay, and Lake Superior sport trolling

licenses: $400 to $2,000.

19. Nonresident fishing guide license: $99.25 to $219.25.

20. Nonresident taxidermist license: $100 to $275.

21. Nonresident wild ginseng harvest license: $30 to $60.

22. Nonresident ginseng dealer license: $1,000 to $2,000.

The bill also decreases the nonresident five-day small game hunting license fee

to $55.25 from $57.25.
