What this bill does
Plain-language analysis by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, the Department of Safety and Professional Services examines, approves, and regulates most private postsecondary schools, including trade schools and for-profit colleges. All such schools approved by DSPS are required to submit quarterly reports that include certain information, including information on enrollment.
This bill requires these quarterly reports to also include information on veteran enrollment.
