What this bill does

This bill requires the Department of Administration to conduct a study of redundancies among federal, state, and local requirements for the construction of new housing, including one-family and two-family dwellings and multifamily housing. The bill requires DOA to submit a report to the legislature no later than one year after the effective date of the bill regarding the results of the study and legislative recommendations for remedying redundancies.
