Compare two lawmakers' votes
Choose two members of the same chamber to see how often they voted the same way, and every roll call where they split.
How this is counted
- A roll call counts only when both lawmakers voted Aye or No on it. If either was absent, excused or didn't vote, it's left out.
- “The same way” means both voted Aye or both voted No. Every roll call counts once, whether it was on passing a bill, an amendment or a procedural motion.
- Only the floor roll calls in the Legislature's own records are counted, for members serving now. Members of different chambers never vote on the same roll call, so they can't be compared.
- This is a count, not a rating. It doesn't say which votes mattered more, or why either member voted as they did.
